Why We Exist

PFLAG Birmingham advocates full equality and civil rights for all people. Our monthly peer-to-peer support group meetings help families in crisis to dispel myths and stereotypes about sexual orientation and gender identity. By encouraging dialogue in a confidential, non-judgmental environment, we strive to promote the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) persons, their families and their friends.
PFLAG Birmingham is a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of donors. Your gift enables us to continue supporting LGBTQ persons and their families through our monthly support groups and advocate for equality for everyone through school bullying programs, outreach to communities of faith, and education about workplace non-discrimination.

Monthly Gatherings Open to Everyone

All are welcome to join us on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Birmingham Unitarian Universalist Church. The UU Church requests that everyone continue to wear masks at this time.
